Set in a medieval chateau surrounded by a moat, The Chateau d'Ermenonville is a historical landmark located only twenty minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport and forty minutes northeast of Paris. Situated in the heart of the princely forests, facing the Parc Jean-Jacques Rousseau, this magnificent Chateau on the waters of the River Launette combines pleasure, comfort and a natural, pastoral ambiance. The formal rooms have antique furnishings, and some feature original fireplaces. There's an upscale restaurant with chandeliers, plus two cozy lounge/bars (one with a piano) and a poker room, as well as a terrace overlooking the gardens. Clay shooting, archery, fishing, tennis, bike riding, horseback riding and free rowboat rides are just some of the recreational activities available on the estate.
